What is your favorite improvement to WordPress this past year?
Overall I think the Auto-Update feature has been the best improvement this year. Security is really important but many people overlook its importance. More updates means less compromises!
Why did you decide to speak at WordCamp Montreal?
I had a great time speaking at WordCamp Montreal last year, and a friend encouraged me to apply again, so I did!
What is your talk going to be about?
My talk is about three plugins that significantly change WordPress: bbPress, BuddyPress, and P2. If you’ve never heard of any of these, give them a Google and see what comes up! Or better yet, simply come to the presentation 🙂
What is the one thing you want people to walk away with from your talk?
I’d like people to walk away understanding the true power of the WordPress platform. It’s not just for simple websites!

What new feature would you like to see in the future?
A true and full mobile experience, both for readers and authors.
