About the presentations

The event is organized into two different rooms (“streams”, “tracks”) that each have something going on at any given moment. Our goal is to ensure that any WordPress user, whether they are an experienced WordPress developer or a novice blogger, always has at least one talk going on that will be interesting to them. Not all talks are appropriate for all users, but we are confident that anyone could walk away form WordCamp with lots of new knowledge and ideas for making the most of WordPress. We will also have a series of “unconference” events this year.

We have confirmed that Matt Mullenweg founder of WordPress will be there, so you can look forward to some global WP-Celebrities, as well as all our local experts 🙂

Presentations are usually 45 minutes long with time for questions and for switching rooms if necessary.

  1. Yannick Lefebvre says:

While I see the information on the town hall presentation that Matt will be doing, I am not sure where to post questions since comments are not opened on single post page for his presentation. Should we be posting questions here?

  2. Dave Adams says:

No key note address? Looking forward to it. Thanks in advance to all the volunteers for putting this together.

    • The keynote speaker will be Matt Mullenweg on Sunday morning. He opted for a more informal “town hall” format which should be great because it means that a lot more people will be able to ask questions. Learn more here.
