Roseanne Harvey is Community Manager for the Quebec English Literacy Alliance, a grassroots network of urban and rural groups promoting literacy and essential skills training. She has 15 years experience working in the non-profit sector (from community radio to women’s shelters to book/magazine publishing). She started blogging, with great resistance, in 2007 while working as a yoga magazine editor, but has since become convinced of the community-building and conversation-sparking potential of the medium.
